- Edge Computing and the Next Generation of IoT Sensors.
Next generation IoT sensors will perform high performance audio-visual processing supported by AI directly on the edge to enable the next generation of battery-powered sensing devices for use cases like predictive maintenance, people counting, feature recognition in images, etc.
Alex Raimondi received the Master in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology from the renowned ETH in Zurich, Switzerland, in 2002. Since 2004, he has been leading the embedded design group of Miromico in order to develop advanced hardware - from high performance FPGA systems to ultra low power sensor devices. Currently, he is the director of the embedded design group at Miromico.
