The best part of this movie is the whole damn thing! 15 minutes isn't enough to mention all the best scenes.

I didn't like how he skipped some good dialogues, but I gave this a thumbs up for bringing back good memories.

Good movie I watched it 3 times

Movie wasn't perfect, but it was still a spectacular one! Considering how it's a manga-adapted movie, it was done beautifully.


If I had any criticisms to the movie, it would be:
- 1) Zapan's lack of his forehead mark. (Which would actually be very important later.)
- 2) I guess they could've added more of the manga stuff in it.
- 3) I think they altered some of the characters a little too much that probably will affect the next movie in a potentially negative way.
- Ex) Jashugan, Desty Nova, Grewischa (his origin story in the manga vs the movie), and more!
- It's worth noting that in the manga, pretty much all of the characters she meets and interacts with affects her life in one way or another, even her enemies, teaching her life lessons and giving her food for thought about existence and her character.
- 4) Alita's eye black. It wasn't like the traditional, simple line-under-the-eye ones you would commonly see in movies, which made it all more special, but I think in the movie, they made it look like that. I hope they rectify that in the sequel.


Despite it's flaws, I choose to pay more attention to its beauty, as well as the passion and hard work they put into the movie. I had no regrets watching this movie, and I'm really grateful for it to have been released, since the trailer is what got me introduced to the manga. I'm really hoping for a sequel soon!

If you don't wanna fit in, you will be labeled and kicked out from the pack and communities. Crap like this will be the future main production of CHINESE COMMUNIST WOLLYWIRDO BRAINWASHING.

Sometimes critics really do ruin the success of a movie, they don't know backstory, they are not familiar with the fandom, they don't care if it's a build up for a badass sequel.
