  • The World Will Shine Again. "Doctor Sleep" Only in Theaters November 8. -------http://DoctorSleepMovie.com“Doctor Sleep” continues the story of Danny Torrance, 40 years after his terrifying stay at the Overlook Hotel in The Shining. But that peace is shattered when he encounters Abra, a courageous teenager with her own powerful extrasensory gift, known as the “shine.” Instinctively recognizing that Dan shares her power, Abra has sought him out, desperate for his help against the merciless Rose the Hat and her followers, The True Knot, who feed off the shine of innocents in their quest for immortality.Forming an unlikely alliance, Dan and Abra engage in a brutal life-or-death battle with Rose. Abra’s innocence and fearless embrace of her shine compel Dan to call upon his own powers as never before—at once facing his fears and reawakening the ghosts of the past.“Doctor Sleep” stars Ewan McGregor (“Star Wars: Episodes I, II & III,” “T2 Trainspotting”) as Dan Torrance, Rebecca Ferguson (the “Mission: Impossible” films, “The Greatest Showman”) as Rose the Hat, and Kyliegh Curran, in her major feature film debut, as Abra. Stephen King is having a banner few years. Same with Margaret Atwood, what with the Hulu series adaptation of "The Handmaid's Tale" (and she's written a sequel to the book that comes out later this year), plus the Netflix adaptation of "Alias Grace."

If Jack Nicholson or Stephen King makes a appearance/cameo in this sequel. I would die happy.

Google Jack Nicholson 2019 and you'll see plenty of pictures of him extremely overweight. He's at 160kg and his appearance has faded completely.

Yeah and there wouldn’t really be a reason to. In doctor sleep he isn’t really in many scenes besides flash backs.

I hope in the flashbacks we get to hear snippets of Jack Nicholson! This looks great so far, great first trailer.

@La_Trolette tf are you calling people "bitches" for lmfao The Original comment of this thread was he hopes the gets to HEAR snippets of Jack not SEE Jack (Even though that would be AMAZIIING!!!). Jack does not own the Torrence Character, they don't have to use him or his likeness, he does not own what he sounded like during the movie either. All they have totdo is use a sound alike via technology and voice acting or, use OG footage audio from the films they own, no likeness or Jack needed.
