  • Crisis pregnancy centers deceptively steer women away from abortion. They can be started way too easily by religious groups like, for instance, a late night talk show’s megachurch.

I find it hard to believe that we should let women die for a kid they weren't sure they wanted.

It's kind of like receiving a deed to a nuclear power plant. You could be a great owner. There's a chance there'll be a meltdown. Not everybody wants the deed, as it's a huge change in someone's life, and you shouldn't be forced to take it.

Technically, an unborn fetus is a parasite, so anyone who tells me it has "rights" can go stuff it. It has the same amount of rights as any other parasitic organism in my mind.

My brother beleives that no matter the circumstances a women shouldn't get abortions

And if it would kill the mother they should have someone else take it

    Like NO

FIRST OF ALL WHAT THE FUCK

if a women is raped and becomes pregnant she should be forced to be reminded of the terrible thing that happened to her for 9 months, and then be reminded of the man who did that to her by seeing the child

And second of all THAT IS NOT HOW THE FEMALE BODY WORKS

YOU CANNOT TAKE A FETUS FROM A PREGNANT WOMEN AND MOVE IT TO ANOTHER WOMEN

THAT. IS. NOT. HOW. IT. WORKS.

in conclusion my brother is an uneducated idiot

We should have better sex education in school's to inform students on everything and especially on how to be safe and what to do in different situations,

Personally I don't like abortion and I never will

But my beleives do not dictate the law and there should always be the option, because if there are not safe medical facilities available for women they will go somewhere else that isn't as safe to get it done where there is a higher risk

The only thing that irritates me about pro-lifers is the lawful hypocrisy. If it's not a human life in a certain time frame that makes it not a life in all scenarios. Such as if a pregnant woman is driving, gets in an accident and has a miscarriage. If she is injured or killed the driver of the other car can be charged with TWO counts of manslaughter. Also men should absolutely have the right to abandonment that expectant mothers are given. Women have numerous laws to protect them for child surrendering. Women have the right to financially, physically, and lawfully abandon their child or give it up for adoption without the consent of the other parental party. Therefore men should have the right as well. I guarantee you that SOME women would be a hell of a lot more careful if they knew that there was no man to hold financially hostage.

You know... I really think we need someone to do what he does to these endless talkshow rundowns and show the pros and cons of what they do and just how twisted they can be about the topics they choose.

A Christian cpc just opened right by the Planned Parenthood. It has large windows that you can see through from a nearby grocery store, because since they don't actually provide medical services, they don't need to follow privacy regulations of medical buildings. CPCs are disgusting, and knowingly spreading misinformation about medical procedures like abortions, and vaccines for that matter, should be illegal.

I live in Ohio in part of the state where we only have one Planned Parenthood and it's a surgical center. I go there for my depo shot. They have a CPC literally across the street. I was told by the PP parking lot escort that the folks standing outside the planned parenthood facility handing out bibles are volunteers for the CPC. Once there was even a man on a megaphone yelling about how women who have had an abortion are destined to be unfit mothers as it kills your maternal instinct and they'll never be able to feel a mother's love.

So they are basically scam clinics/totalitarian sects actively trying to mislead and bullshit people.
Remind me again why are they legal?
Nvm, you just answered that. Loopholes.

Some people just don’t get it.
You think these women want to have to terminate a pregnancy, knowing that they are technically killing an unborn child? These people have no choice. They are desperate. It’s not just “oh yea I just don’t really feel like having a kid right now”. No. It’s “I recognize that I am unable to care for a potential child at this moment/ the circumstances which lead me to become pregnant make it unsafe or traumatizing for me to give birth to the offspring of this person”

For anyone who is against abortions: Please watch "Call the midwife", especially series eight. It shows what women did when abortions were illegal in the 1950s and 1960s and how they suffered. The lack of choices made them go to backalley places where other women with unsanitary equipment and little knowledge did what the women begged for. Of course, times have changed and there are many ways to prevent pregnancies, but if accidents happen, and they do, allow women to avoid a life of misery

This is the most BS I saw lately.
I really hate these PRO-Lifers, who force women to have children without telling them how to take care of them. Neither mentally nor physically oreconomically.
It's like they don't care for the life of the children but just want to decide over womens body.

I donk know I sent a couple of girls I know to one recently....they had no one in their life that had shown them what a good mother was so they were scared to be parents....both already decided to keep the baby...they have parenting classes and give free stuff for families that need it.

I live above an abortion clinic and once in a while a couple of stupid religious people will stand outside harassing people seeking help. I tried talking sense to them telling them why in some instances it would be better to abort, but no, that's not God's plan. A roommate had a different approach. She decided to tell them it was wrong what they were doing. They asked her what she would have thought should her mother have decided to abort her. "I wouldn't have known. I wouldn't have been here. Maybe she should have."
