Has anyone ever fielded the question to Sammy that the John Gotti tapes he listened to may have been fake? I mean the Gov lies about a lot of things, of course they'd have no problem lying to what they view as a street thug. The John Gotti tapes were never released which makes it more suspicious to me. They lied about WMDs in Iraq, people still speculate about 9/11 and on and on. What about Sammy Gravano being lied to via manufactured tapes? The recording quality was SHIT in the 90s, go back and listen to the select few of John Gotti's recordings - they're difficult to listen and sometimes require a second playthrough. How hard would it be to edit and piece together words and sentences to manufacture a tape that gets Sammy to cooperate and bring down the whole mob?

The Feds don't give a shit how they get you to confess as long as they can get you to confess and that it can fly as valid evidence in the courtroom.

It's amazing how everyone forgets he was not honorable. He told on his business partner/friend. Ruined their families. A rat no matter, how good their words sound, should never be interviewed to explain their story. If no one kills him, he should be outcasted

People can say what they want .. But Sammy was true cosa nostra .. The feds had thousands of hours of wire taps. He never once said anything that could be used against him and his partners. He was a great earner and was loyal until he was backed in a corner and set to be a sacrificial lamb to boss and someone he thought was a friend

He's right on the money with gun control. Gangsters will ALWAYS have a gun. Taking guns away from the good guys does NOTHING. And he's right on about Bill Clinton

Gotti gave his sons killer a pass after his kid was ran over because it was an accident, then only did that guy disapeaer because he was talking lot of shit being disrespectful bout it. If someone ran over my son accident or not he would of been dead..... so the self control he had is honorable. obviously a man of principal , he died about it his word . he ate, slept and breathed the code... when you sign up for that life you expect pentenairy or death as the end result. Its no riding off in the sunset, Costra nostra was orginaly created for protection for the Italians when they first came off the boat. Its for the group not yourself. Gotti was loved by the Italians in the community. He is the peoples champ. No1 is perfect and he made mistakes but he was true to his word- all you can expect from someone in this life... their word. If your word aint sh1t you aint sh1t PERIOD.

Great interview. My opinion changed 100% about Sammy the Bull. I used to think he was a low life rat that brought the whole mob down. Well ok, he was but I understand why he did it.
He sounds like a good guy and I totally agreed with him asking why they could use the RICO act on him and others but they don’t for those running out country. Also agree that there are groups that get away with all the things the Mafia did and there are groups like Hollywood, governments and so on that are basically the same as the different families in the mob.
Also agree with his view on gun control.
He is a smart guy who lived a life most of us never would have but he followed the rules and played by the book. Everyone in the game knew the rules too. They still choose to play the game.
