Being a part of a Stephen King adaptation is definitely exciting but you might be surprised by all of the strict rules these celebrities were expected to follow behind the scenes. Bill Skarsgard terrified the child actors during the first movie but how did the adult cast of IT Chapter Two react? We’ll also talk about what problem Bill Hader had with Finn Wolfhard and how Jessica Chastain helped escalate the situation. Even following the rules was often hazardous thanks to the film’s reliance on special effects, just ask James McAvoy who ended up with lingering injuries. Director Andy Muschietti was intent on getting all the scenes perfect, but Isaiah Mustafa admits this was tough on the actors. Before the cameras could even begin filming, the kids had to go through an intense digital de aging process to make them look more like they did a few years ago. Pennywise the Dancing Clown is definitely scary, but most of the cast’s most frightening moments on set don’t actually involve him at all! If you thought the movie was scary just wait until you find out about all the different things the actors had to deal with!

If you’ve already seen the movie what did you think of it? Was it a fitting follow-up to the first one or do you think it fell flat?
