  • A rolled-up TV in a box seems pretty weird at first... This is dope tech with potential! This is the LG OLED TV R.

Alternate title - The LG Rollable OLED TV: March Rollout? 😵

You mentioned your wallpaper TV. Could you talk about it a little or perhaps post a pic on your Instagram page?

This is a game changer if it's going to be priced the same as any other flagship from the start.
    1. No more dust buildup.
    2. No more moving out troubles.
    3. Tax evasion if you'd wish to ship it abroad. (for a while least)
    4. Possibly no more aspect ratio annoyance.
    5. Makes you feel like a Bond Villain every time you want to use it.

Its cool, but I dont want a big box in a minimal living room. A hanging on a wall is my thing.

I LOVE the idea - I live in a studio apartment, and will probably never live in a very large one. Most apartments in my price range seem to have very odd floorplans with no real place to put a TV, so one that can just roll down would be AMAZING.
Of course, the fact that I can't afford a nicer apartment doesn't bode well for my ability to afford a rollable OLED TV... But maybe in a few years? Or, like, ten? 😬

Its cool. BUT what if the motors that roll up and down the tv break? Which they will eventually. It will cost soo much money to fix. I think there should also be a manual way to rollup the tv like a contingency plan. If not then this tv is pointless and only stupid people (Sheep's) will buy this.
