    Heath Ledger 2004 - 2008
    Short Story

In 2005 Heath Ledger had a baby (Matilda Rose) with his partner Michelle Williams that he had met in 2004, but in 2007 she parted with him and took full custody of their child because of his intense partying and drug abuse that he had for several years. Ledger then went into a depression and suffered from sleeping problems and his drug use intensified.

Then the same year he was offered to play the role of the Joker in Christopher Nolan's film The Dark Knight. He threw himself into the role completely and made a crazy preparation for it. But during the making of the film his sleeping problems got worse and it was because of the Joker, "he" took over his mind, held him up every night with loads of thoughts and during that time Ledger only slept around two hours a day. This only made his state of health worse.

On the 22th of January in 2008 in Lower Manhattan Ledger was found unconscious in his apartment around 3:00 pm by his masseues Diana Wolozin. She then called Mary-Kate Olsen that he was dating at the time three times before calling 911, around 3:26 pm. The emergency services then arrived about seven minutes later but could not save Ledger, he was declared dead around 3:36 pm.

Cause of death was a combination of six different pills like painkillers, sleepingpills and pills for anxiety. He did not take a larger dose of any of the medicines he had, that day. But he took medicines that weren't supposed to be consumed together at the same time, which made his brainstem stop working which in turn made his heart and lungs stop working.

I know that there are more details to this happening but I tried to make it as short as possible so that people easily can read and understand it. I hope this answered some of your questions. The information is brought from very trusted sources.

I somehow imagine a garbage collector talking about getting into the role so deeply that they couldn’t escape it . I imagine them making interesting comments about the job, the route and about life. I Imagine a garbage collector method acting to such a level that they loose themselves into the role. Aren’t we all method actors?

The pharmaceutical companies need to pay for his death. To all those who really knew him. Fucking bastards.

The only thing that Heaths Joker lacked was The Lack of Importance to Life...

His sister states that he had insomnia and other personal issues before the film. He loved portraying the character and wasn’t depressed about it. He overdosed on sleeping pills “accidentally”. :) or at least that’s what was said.

Imagine Ledger and Phoenix in a movie together today, like some alternative universe kind of thing! We DC fans would be spoiled...lmao

It wasn’t the performance. This vid gets it right. Chronic stress is the core issue. It’s the reason why we use drugs or engage in risky behavior. What keeps us healthy and well is mindfulness, attention to mental health (therapy), relationships, diet, sleep and exercise. Thank you “what culture” for bringing forth truth.

I think he has always has mental problems and the joker role had nothing to do with it. But it gets clicks.
