    The 80s had a great aesthetic that holds up, at least the 80s vision of the future. With some modern tweaking, it's fresh again. To get synth music this good in the actual 80s required about 200 audio connectors and 5 machines the size of a refrigerator.

    @TN RC Also a lot of Sax jazz and similar music. When you think of film noir music, the actual film noir era didn't have jazz riffs playing, but the parodies and homages of the 1980s did. That's where it came from.

    Nice, that piece of art you used for the video is actually from Star Citizen, but with the color palette changed a little bit to have that 80's look about it; you wouldn't know if you weren't invested in the project, and it looks damned good.
