I have to agree. I disagree with Russell Brand on almost every topic; for example, anything with economics. I don't think he's always been this way, but he does NOW discuss very calmly and without overt condescension. Like I say, I saw some earlier conversations where he kind of lost it a bit, so maybe he grew up some. I wonder if, as people STARTED taking his opinions more seriously (not as a comedian, but as a thinker) he decided that having that new-found respect was not something to squander or...

THIS is how debates should be. Props to both of them for being civilized.

That's because he is genuinely being polite where most leftist interviewers don't know how. This was refreshing to watch. Then again I'm a huge Candace Owens fan.

56:30 Russell is wrong. He didn't define "rabble". It is not the rabble in the street that is saying 'lock her up'. This is mainstream and middle class America saying it. The anti Trumpers are the rabble rousers. All the mask wearing buffoonery in the streets...aka ANTIFA... that is the rabble in the street. Haven't heard a single one of them say 'lock her up'. But the rabble/antifa sure know how to react violently(as rabble always does) to fake news and liberal Democrat rhetoric.

I don’t believe in any of Mr. Brands politics. He may not call himself a globalist, but he is. I do however, respect him for debating people like Candace and Jordan Peterson and treating them with respect even when he disagrees. The Democrats could learn a thing or two from Mr Brand.

I was a liberal until I heard Candace Owens speak. She made me realize how destructive the Democrat party is.

The democratic party and liberalism are two completely separate things. Hope you don't still equate your liberalism and the democrats as synonymous.

I find too many people focus on the wrong aspects of the "wealth disparity" issue. Instead of trying to redistribute the wealth of the rich, instead just focus on elevating the poor. You don't have to take from the rich to fix the poor. There is nothing inherently wrong with being rich. Then, you outlaw lobbying and effectively remove the power of wealth in politics. Done.

The rich are rich because they have taken and been enabled by their agents in government to take more than their fair share. They can only become richer if they continue to be so enabled. It is to an extent a zero sum game and one of the thrills of being rich is that one has more than the poor.

Been dreading to watch this for a while, but was I so pleasantly surprised by Russell's demeanour! Was expecting a shouting match, but it turned out to be sooooo civilised!Really good debate...This show deserves to be on prime time tv, instead of some of the rubbish we're all forced to pay for on Bruttish Backward Corporation.
