  • A photo of an Atlanta 4th-grade teacher rocking a form-fitting pink dress and heels has caused much debate. Is this appropriate attire for the classroom? Is there a way teachers should or shouldn’t dress? Watch the hosts weigh in.

Her dress itself is not inappropriate, it's just the setting. She looks BANGIN, POPPIN! But that dress should be worn at her personal functions with her family and friends. No hate towards the teacher AT ALL, but I do agree with Tamera. :( It's just not appropiate.

This type of clothing is not appropriate at a school. PeriodT no need to even debate, I don’t care what body type is wearing it.

Be careful kids nowadays are very sexual. Yes even at 10 years old kids nowadays know a lot of things! Even i am baffled when i taught at elementary or primary school whatever you may call it.

I’m with tamera. She looks great. I definitely don’t think it’s “trashy” or “slutty” but like she said it’s not the place for that. If I came to work with Smokey eye makeup and high heels it just wouldn’t look right.

The dress is professional she can’t suck in her ass I think it’s appropriate, like Jeanie said it’s a matter of we sexualize us women and if we wanted to wear something tight fitted it’s labeled inappropriate but it goes to her knees and has a high neckline, I understand it’s a classroom but at the same time kids are going to look at butts and boobs at that age either way because of puberty i think if it really was an issue the principal or whoever her boss is would’ve said something to her.

I’ve never seen a teacher dress like that before. I’ve had curvy teachers before but they’ve never worn such a skin tight dress. She looks like she’s going out clubbing.

Her dress is fine. No matter what she wears she’ll look sexy. She’s an attractive woman.

Idk, I feel like in school teachers really need to lean on the more conservative side. I agree, girl she is FINE, but there is a time and a place. I ain't gonna be wearing a club dress to church. extreme example but the idea is still there. The whole point of school is to be educated, and sure not just on academic issues, but the reason dress codes are implemented is to try to eliminate the distractions so children and adolescents, who are very impressionable at that age can really focus on academics. And even when teaching social or cultural or other aspects of life, when it comes to policies, including dress code, it's to help the students learn. Whether or not some schools go to far is a different conversation. but there is a time and a place, especially with adults and teachers to wear certain clothes.

The only thing I don’t agree with tam about is whether she’s in jeans or dress pants she still is gunna have a butt, we need to teach kids to focus instead of enabling them to not be able to control themselves

I don’t think there is anything wrong with what she’s wearing. Like Adrienne said, there are going to be people in tight clothes and curves in the real world and you’re going to get past it. Also teach your child not to sexualize their teacher and pay attention. Don’t blame her for your child not acting right. Same as if she was at a bar and a grown man decided to grab her but because she was in a tight dress. The dress didn’t make him do that.

I feel like Adrianne only said that because she is not a mom yet, even though was she said was not a lie or anything like that, it was very real, at the end of the day that dress was extremely inappropriate
