Dale Emery I didn't say anything about British people, I'm saying I always say "Porsche". People who say "Porsh" are idiots. How can Americans and British people be so stupid at not pronounce "Porsche" properly?

+no2nate Your mother is a piece of shit car.For the times and for how poor we were beyond the papa stalin's curtain, it was amazing. Plus you literally can't kill it. Nor will it rust.

I´ve read an anecdote in a German car magazine, that during the development of the 959 chief R/D engineer Helmut Bott returned from a test drive and said to his staff: "At 125 mph the car feels a bit squirmy..." The engineers were shocked before he added: "...on gravel..."

As I said, doesn´t go beyond anecdotal evidence, but a least the story originated from a respectable car magazine before the internet. Could still be made up, of course.

One of the best cars of all time imo! I had never seen the suspension being raised before - so thanks for that. I was actually fortunate enough to see these being built in Zuffenhausen in the spring of 1986, when I was having a special guided tour at their facilities. It was a day to remember!

Sure that first aid kit seems excessive until you realize that this car was designed for group B. All those bystanders😱

Just a regular, albeit expired German kit. Here you have to have one, know how to use it and are required by law to actually use it, if you come across anyone in need. Those bandages can be stacked up to apply pressure on an open gushing wound to stop the flow. There are never to many! First aid training is a requirement to get a driving license in Germany (and I personally think refreshing courses should be too ...)

Jeebuz that's a good point that I didn't even think about.

Wow... anyone notice "1 piece of white chalk," at 24:57 listed in the First Aid Kit table of contents?I can only think of one use for that during an auto accident.Insane this car even anticipates death.
