  • In this video, we give this pair of John Lobb oxfords a makeover. A customer brought this old pair into our shop and wanted to have them resoled before passing them on to his son. When you have a pair of these world-renowned shoes in your hands, you give them the best. That's exactly what we set out to do.

I love the idea of restoring something classic instead of just throwing them out.

Man, these are beautiful. And then there's kids out here thinking that their Jordan's are "nice" and wouldn't understand.

Impressive, but in time to do the repair, I would have already purchased to to three pairs online and probably been wearing them now

FYI, every single Marine is highly qualified to work the "spit" shinning portion of this process. (well, anyone who served before they moved to non-"Spit"-shinning boots...lol

Do you get many Crockett & Jones shoes to repair? I have an ancient pair that has seen better days. Can still see the pencil signature of the maker despite their age and condition.

Toss those away and save a few hundred bucks on this repair...go to Kohls and buy a nice pair of $100 dress shoes with your 40$ off coupon...go back to Kohls the following week with your $20 bonus bucks and buy some dress socks. Repeat a few years later. Bam...all good!
