the sad part is that there are kids who have sacrificed so many days and sleepless nights working hard so that they could have a chance getting accepted into these schools...

It’s not the school that makes the person if they can only succeed by going to a fancy college then they were not meant to succeed.

For a "Christian" country there seem to be very few morals.

That's the only actual criminal law broken by the parents, at least the only they mentioned up to this point , a private institution can admit anyone they want for whatever reason they want (including payment), the parents might be prosecuted for fraud if the institution feels like it, but for the government the only thing I can see as an actual reason to arrest is tax money fraud, everything else is pretty much only civil, they could be sued for sure for other reasons presented, but to actually arrest...

Big-money bribes weren't all that common 40 - 50 years ago.   The tuitions were so high only the rich could go there, regardless of other qualifications.  But most colleges still had sex and sports for grades and degrees.

    H. Wolfe I know all rich people are not the same..it’s the family background where you learn values..I blame the school as much as I blame the parents.an educational institution should do such things.it breaks the sanctity .

+1mikon Yea, I just finished watching it from her own mouth here on YT; it gets worse, but I'll spare the poor child...oops, rich child. My brother has an exremely rich friend who is nothng like this. Nothing. There are very wealthy people that are the salt of the earth; not many that I've known, but they are out there.
