  • ROLLING THUNDER REVUE: A BOB DYLAN STORY BY MARTIN SCORSESE captures the troubled spirit of America in 1975, and the joyous music that Bob Dylan performed that fall. Master filmmaker Martin Scorsese creates a one-of-a-kind movie experience: part documentary, part concert film, part fever dream. Featuring Joan Baez, Rubin "Hurricane" Carter, Sam Shepard, Allen Ginsberg, and Bob Dylan giving his first on-camera interview in over a decade. The film goes beyond mere reclamation of Dylan’s extraordinary music—it’s a roadmap into the wild country of artistic self-reinvention.Watch Rolling Thunder Revue: A Bob Dylan Story By Martin Scorsese on Netflix: https://www.netflix.com/title/80221016SUBSCRIBE: http://bit.ly/29qBUt7About Netflix:Netflix is the world's leading internet entertainment service with over 148 million paid memberships in over 190 countries enjoying TV series, documentaries and feature films across a wide variety of genres and languages. Thank Bob I ignore critics. I read one dude who complained about the talking heads. The talking heads provide context. All of the talking heads were interesting. But doesn't surprise me. Whatever interests Scorsese interests me, and he chose the most interesting talking heads.

Once again Dylan takes the footage, destroys it in his own movies, and Scorsese comes around to save it.

Which they rarely do. But they are well on their way to making it up to me, making up for all the tedious shit I've sat thru the last couple years with the 2 Scorsese flicks this year, Rolling Thunder and The Irishman. Even Netflix can't fuck up a Scorsese flick, Praise Bob.

I absolutely cannot wait to see this one - my favorite Dylan era. "Joan Baez and I could sing together in our sleep."

@Misty G. It was and is tacky and insensitive as Bob's former(?) lover to sing songs he wrote about his wife, such as Isis.
