    Spiderman is DEAD! ►►
    Venom is the VICTIM! ►

We've seen a lot of Spider-Man lately. Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse, Spider-Man: Homecoming, and soon Spider-Man: Far From Home. Before that we saw Andrew Garfield slinging webs with Emma Stone for a couple movies, but I want you to think FURTHER back. That's right, I'm talking Tobey Maguire Spider-Man.
Remember how at the end of his first movie EVERYTHING had gone wrong? Norman Osborn - the Green Goblin - was gone, his best friend was fatherless, Uncle Ben did what all Uncle Ben's do, etc.. It was all very sad. In Spider-Man 2, we see a Spider-Man without his powers. I want to talk about WHY he lost his powers. What made our friendly, neighborhood Spider-Man just plain, old Peter Parker?

Nice work, but I dont understand how that was a secret, it was more of an obvious plot that he suffer mental conflicts that leaded to all problems. That the point of samuel raimi's interpretation of spiderman

As soon as you said PTSD I paused it to type this.
OMG you idiot! If you are seriously saying Peter's loss of powers is from PTSD, then the Doctor he sees in Spider-Man 2 told him it was in his head! PTSD is a mental disorder. If this is the only thing you're gonna say by the end of this video, I'm never watching a video from you again! I'm so glad I unsubscribed to you! This video took over a minute and a half to start, and full of your dumb commentary. Hell! The movie made it obvious that he lost his powers because of his mental health!
By the end of your video. So glad I use Ad Block.

The chocolate cake and glass of milk are actually what made him regain his powers.

This video is just the plot of the first half of Spiderman 2... next do a Spiderman 3 video about why he started acting like a douche even though we know it's the symbiote that invaded him. Maybe just throw in an excessively long intro and some medical terms and you've got yourself a 9 minute video that you can put a 5 minute intro on. Fuck this channel

Over 3 minutes before the video actually starts. That's a quarter of the video, and also means without an excessive opening sequence the video is under 10 minutes. Greedy YouTubers

It's called stress. The loss of his powers was a psychosomatic response to stress.
This is called "subtext," hence why the movie doesn't give us a concrete answer. Sometimes storytelling is more interesting when left ambiguous.

I don't think it's that simple to get over such a trauma. I've been dealing with PTSD and depression for years, and just some fresh air and talking to family and friends isn't enough to help you back on your feet. I believe he lost his powers because he lost confidence in himself because of what happened, which spiders know what they can do and would never lose confidence. I think he lost touch with his spider side and reconnected to it when he helped that little kid. He gained more confidence and got his powers back because he believed in himself. But hey, that's just my theory
