It may not have been termed "ball of the century", as was Shane Warne's first ever ball on English soil 12 years earlier. But it was one of the leg spinners most memorable. It pitched way outside off stump and spun two and half feet to bowl Andrew Strauss round his legs. It sparked a superb spell for Warne, and his figures of 6-46 were the best ever for an Australian at Old Trafford.

huh, I actually bowled one similar to that in the nets

I don't know how I did cause most the stuff I bowl is just sorta orthadox, swing from right to left (so right arm around)

The one I bowled last year was no where near as sharp a turn, if you put another set of stumps to the leg side (it was a right armed batter) it would've probably been in line with middle stump on the second set, but hey, the batter moved to do the exact same thing as Strauss, and the exact same thing happened, missed the pad, hit middle stump

Let's just say, that one of my fondest memories playing Cricket, mostly cause I know that I'll never repeat it xD

Warne showed for me why he’s the greatest spin bowler of all time in this series! What a smart competitor he is, just a shame he’s Australian and not English 😉

Even after watching the first 2 seconds of the video frame by frame, I have no idea how Warne spun that delivery so much. An absolute genius.
