I was the baseball and it's going to happen in 2 seconds.

Intentional walk with bases loaded and being two runs up with two outs in the 9th. Happened twice I think? Both times walked a .300-ish batter, followed by a strikeout against a less prolific batter.

I guess randy Johnson hitting a bird is one in a billion?

    Not really a play.

I can imagine the hapiness of the pitcher when his teammate grab a out of the park ball.

Like that time in the bottom of the 9th in 2009 when Mark Burhle needed 2 more outs for a perfect game, and DeWayne Wise makes a crazy robbing catch.

  • Shane Davis

Right? It's almost like it kicked itself into a second gear mid-air.

    Dirty. Just plain filthy

You don't have Randy Johnson hitting a bird with a pitch, that was actually 1 in million

Wasn't really a "play" though. Just an incredibly unlucky bird. Still, I can see why you'd expect something like that to be in here.

"one in a million" implies luck. This is all skill.

  • Jake77

     (Oct 13, 2018)

yes, then why does this not happen every play? because luck

  • Matt Osler

Only Joe Buck can make an amazing catch sound as exciting as churning butter.

THESE PLAYS ARE ONLY ONE OF THE MANY THINGS THAT MAKES BASEBALL THE BEST SPORT IN THE WORLD!!

Edmonds' catch is more impressive than The Catch from Willie Mays. And I say this as a Giants fan.
