What about the reappearance of his teeth? During the movie, one tooth fell out, and another was pulled - but he smiles with a full set of teeth in the final scene. I'd say everything after being stuffed with eel water was a dream; a wishful fantasy in his own mind.

A man cannot unsee the truth. He cannot willingly return to darkness or go blind once he has the gift of sight, anymore than he can be unborn

We are the only species capable of self-reflection. The only species with the toxin of self doubt written into our genetic code. Unequal to our gifts we build, we buy ,we consume. We wrap ourselves in the illusion of material success. We cheat and decieve as we claw our way to the pinnacle of what we define as achievement; superiority to other men.

But there is sickness inside us. Rising like the bile that leaves that bitter taste at the back of our throats. We do our best to deny its existence, dealing in lies and distraction. Until one day the body rebels against the mind and screams out... I am not a well man. Only when we know what ails us can we hope to find the cure.

Loved Garth Marenghi's Dark Place. Matt Berry is one of my favourite actors. Another good one was Dr Terrible's House of Horrible with Steve Coogan. Also League of Gentlemen. Can't beat some dark humour/horror but nothing being made today really compares, I have to make do with rewatching the classics. Mighty Boosh was pretty good too. Don't make 'em like they used to.

I haven't seen a comment like this, and correct me if I'm wrong since I haven't watched the documentary about this in a while, but, at 6:00 the lung-eel thing was used (made)in the late 1800 or 1900s for a disease or something from what I think was a war, to help people breathe. I really cant remember what it did exactly(I think it applied pressure for the lungs to work, like cpr)or where the documentary is on YouTube, but the machines are literally the same in the movie as in real life, or at least the original model. The documentary was about a man who was one of the last with the 'disease' still alive today, but I think he passed a few years afterwards and how he still needed to use it to live, eventhough it had been years since he started using it. I know I didnt do a good job describing it, but I couldn't stop thinking about it, and I loved that the movie included a real thing, they just used it differently. Also, please tell me if you find the documentary or know anything about it, cause I really want to find and watch it again, and sorry for making you read this, if you did.
