It looks like we can put How To Train Your Dragon on the pedestal of mighty trilogies among Star Wars, Planet of the Apes, The Dark Knight, Captain America, Indiana Jones, Back to the Future, Toy Story, Lord of the Rings and Kung Fu Panda. Who would've thought....Edit-WOW a thread that's civilly talking about trilogies that have good and bad movies in them?IT CAN BE DONE! The youtube comment section can be CIVIL. Holy shit.
“Toy Story”. You thought.

“The sand effects were crazy!” Anakin: *HEAVY BREATHING*
"Not coarse enough to enter your ears"-Anakin
I think they are ready for a star wars spinoff with Anakin in the middle of the desert
I never expected this to be a great trilogy honestly.
Nobody expected the movies to be a good trilogy. Has anyone seen the trailer for the first movie? It made the movie look like it was gonna be shit and a total bomb.
@Raheem YT no shit.. but doesnt mean the movies were bad.
Many people missed the point of this movie, anyway. Toothless didn't leave Hiccup because he prefer Light Fury...actually Toothless didn't want to leave Hiccup:"When Hiccup says, 'Go lead them to the hidden world, you'll be safe there,' Toothless looks back to the Light Fury and then looks to Hiccup," DeBlois said. "He pulls him close as if to say, 'I don't want to leave you.'"Toothless had no choice. Remember that he's also the Alpha.
The ending will make you cry
it did, for like 15 mins... couldn't stop crying, it was so emotional, and hiccup is such a perfect human being... :(
Sadly i didnt but i was sooooo close too when toothless and hiccup said goodbye
Now I'm not a very emotional guy, but Jesus did this movie make me cry.
This made me feel extremely sad too man. Looking back to the first one when I was 9 years old, and now it ending 9 years later emotionally took a toll on me.
@PREDATOR -32- I thought I was the only one.
I was the perfect age when the first one came out. I was always around the same age as Hiccup, this one included. So it feels like I grew up with this series and it’s never disappointed me.☺️
So true i was 10 years old when the 1st movie came out and now im 18, it really does feel like we grew up with him
Same and I'm ginger lmao
I've rooted more for HTTYD than any other animation movie.
You do know there a how to train your Dragon tv show on Netflix. Has 6 season and is between S1-S2. Like Jeremy said this series start really slow but will hook you and this is no diff It's really fun especially S6.
I liked it, but I'm terms of animated movies, I think spiderverse is still number 1 at least for me
HTTYD 1 = AHTTYD 2 = A+HTTYD 3 = A-One of the greatest trilogies ever made.
The first will always be my favorite. The second falls behind a little and I wasn’t the biggest fan of the third. Loved Toothless and Hiccup but the rest was hit or miss.HTTYD 1= A+HTTYD 2= A-HTTYD 3= B-Again only really loved Hiccup and Toothless in the third oh and the entire final scene.
@Boi McDoStuff true
I was 10 when the first movie came out. I walked out of that movie with my brother and we were raving on and on about how we love Toothless and wanted dragons. When we watched the finale in theatres, we both started crying. I’m so grateful to Dreamworks for respecting the beautiful franchise that is HTTYD and creating a substantial and compelling story rather than a cheap cash grab. They truly did my childhood justice. Imo this is one of the greatest animated trilogies to ever exist
