No filling songs. Every piece is an amazing frame of mind.

I'm glad they don't. All creativity would be snuffed out and imitated with a huge influx of cash and popularity

This is literally the first album I've ever fallen in love with, and I'm coming up on 40 pretty quickly. :/ Still, better late than never when getting into music, especially with music like this. This music 'clicked' with me harder than anything has ever 'clicked' with me before.

+Synaps4 i feel your pain my friend, i grew up on thrash metal and metal just hasnt been the same since, less politics and more emo these days.

I had that feeling the first time I heard Magic Sword - Volume 1. That's how I found out about Dance with the Dead, and all the adjacent bands. They're definitely on to something - nostalgic undertones with more complex composition and instrumentation. I have to say, I still like Magic Sword a little more (it's more science-fantasy than the thriller-horror DWTD approaches), but I've seen both in concert, and I'm so glad I found this genre was well.

Thrasher makes me feel like I'm racing through the neon streets of 2086.

"Sunset" is the perfect ending for this album.

It's on the same level as "Riser" of the Near Dark album
