The square part has a battery in it. When the prongs are pushed into the skin, it complete the connection and briefly makes the phone look like it's charging because in fact, it is.

I can almost guarantee that there is some form of a battery inside the charger block and then that how that works. As far as the wire tricks go I have no idea what so ever.

The cable is never an unbroken loop. He just pretends to slide it through his hand. The broken part is still in his left hand. It’s smooth, but not that clever. In the end, the plug-in end is just a tiny portable charger.

Oh come on, he didn't fool them. They said they don't know how it works, that's a lot different. They even clarified that they don't know how their iPhones work either and it's just like that.

The last trick was just science. He either used the prongs as a hidden button, or he made a capacitive charge switch, both with a battery hidden inside where the transformer would be. Our bodies hold a very small charge. Most of the commentors on that have no clue how electricity works. I work industrially in the electrical field.

i mean a simple answer would be a 5 volt power supply from a battery in the charging cube and it turns on when you touch it to skin

You mean fooled them for seconds It's so easy to see, you don't watch the cord watch the hands. As for the battery USB charger .... Wow that's was really tricky to workout !
