    Recently I moved to China. I think Mao was kind of right. It's hard but cruel 😢. But he was and is right.
    Free world will never be able to understand this. I'm not saying that it's completely right though, I'm just saying that his ideas worked. And that's what matter for nowdays China.

    Some things that Mao Zedong did after the founding of the People's Republic were wrong, but my parents, as well as many old people, miss him very much, and they are very grateful to him. It is more than too much, you will never understand.

    Mao is a great man. Sure, his legacy is complicated, but New China has spoken for itself. If Mao had died soon after the liberation, there would have been no doubt that he was a true hero, similar to Lenin after the Great October Revolution! But even with all this added complication, it was him that was the catalyst for change. The West really tries to find all it can to delegitimize the right of the Communist Party to rule China.
