My question is how they got him in there, opened all the dog cells, and got out.

I would've stomp his head if I were Jon Snow. Then fed him to the hounds

Love all these scenes.. it is just so amusing with the dog scene at the end though.. that pitbull was a massive baby and wouldn't stop licking the actors.

The young Stark should have zig zag rather than a straight line.

I've read several comments denigrating the tactics of the "Battle of the Bastards" as unfeasible, unrealistic, and/or used simply for cinematic effect. Ramsey's battle tactics were realistic, authentic for that time period(GOT would be based at some juncture during Antiquity; 3000 B.C.E. to 474 A.C.E.), and quite brilliant. This was a combination of a Pincer Maneuver utilizing a Phalanx battle formation. A Pincer maneuver is a gradual encircling of a whole fighting force until the opponent is squeezed into defending its main fighting force, its flanks as well as its rear. The Phalanx formation was a close-rank, dense grouping of warriors armed with long spears and interlocking shields. ... The strength of the phalanx lay in the endurance and discipline of the soldiers who made up the closely-packed rectangular, circular, or diamond shaped formations of shields and spears. This EXACT tactic (like the GOT scene) was utilized by the Greeks against the Persians at the Battle of Marathon. They utilized a pincer maneuver against the Persians in Phalanx formations, yet instead of a wall of bodies forming a "natural" wall, the Persians were pinned against the sea, and were soundly defeated. These types of formations have been a staple of many of the greatest empires of antiquity i.e Alexander the Great (Battle of Issus/Guagamela), It was the backbone of the Roman Empire's war machine, the Carthaginian Hannibal, considered one of the greatest military generals of all time, overcame Rome’s best military asset, its tight Phalanx Legions, at the Battle of Cannae in August of 216 BC by using the pincer maneuver. And arguably one of the the most famous clashes of antiquity was the Battle of Thermopylae, pitting 300 Spartans and roughly 7,000 Greeks against, and the approximations differ, anywhere from 300,000 to 2 million Persians. The Spartans were arguably the greatest warriors of their time/and possibly history, and their main fighting tactic was the Phalanx. Due to the terrain, as the Hot Gates was an extremely narrow coastal passage, the cliffs served as natural obstacles, and the wall like Phalanx utilized by the Spartans, Persian numbers were neutralized. The Spartans repelled the Persians for 2 days, killing roughly 25 to 40,000 Persians. Ephialtes, a Spartan who worked on a goat farm near Thermopylae betrayed the Spartans to the Persians purportedly out of greed for riches, and/or unrequited love for a Spartan girl named Ellas.
