  • Here I show how I have cleaned my car and truck engines for years. It requires no water, scrubbing, or heavy degreasers. Plus, it protects your belts and hoses.

Hey guys I have a better solution then using tire foam. Tire foam leaves a greasy residue behind which honestly looks terrible. I use trim shine. Trim shine is for leather, plastic and vinyl. It does what tire foam does but without all the messy greasy look.
    Step 1) degrease engine
    Step 2) spray trim shine
    Step 3) wipe down
Three simple steps to an amazing looking engine!

Be warned... yes this will work brilliantly. But it will not last long. It will make the engine surfaces sticky and it will attract dust like crazy. I’ve tried it and ended up with dusty looking engine ever since.

Was not worth it if you ask me.

Did you have the engine running while spraying the wheel foam on the engine?

clean it right! simple green marine is the best! it has to be the marine version the regular simple green don't work! 10 minutes then hose it off and wipe it down here and there. Tire form looks great but gets into every crack and cranny the film is a dirt magnet  only if your selling car and the ball of mud becomes somebody else's problem. I clean it right even for someone else!  this is my opinion maybe I'm wrong.

I use WD-40 and it works the best! Better than this because it displaces water!

Engines should stay naturally dirty. Looking pretty doesn't help to anything.
