In Unbreakable M Night Shyamalan played a young drug dealer, and in Glass when he talked to David about the old place he used to work, he said that he used to hang around there and hung around the wrong crowd, but he turned his life around. I thought that was some nice attention to detail.

@Tyler Olson Exactly what I thought. The whole film's too long. There's a lot of self serving dialogue that could have cut about 10 mins out of the film. Did we really need two shots of an orderly talking to a guard about weight loss ?

Gotta admit that I like Glass too! Fans of it just aren't as vocal as naysayers.

Tyler Stevens Sure they do. You just don't happen to agree with them. Which is fine. But myself and apparently a majority of the academy thought Get Out was leagues ahead of Split. But it's okay to be in the minority.

@godzillarex888 I know I'm late to the conversation here. But i have to disagree I think theorganization makes perfect sense and they even explain it. I always wondered that David couldn't be the first hero in that world. And the organization shows that they are the reason why the world hasn't seen heroes and villains. Because they covertly hear whispers of people with rumored abilities. And if they turn out to be true they kill both without discrimination. But what I like is Mr. Glass deduced this as...

So I’ll add this, Glass is a movie that absolutely requires having seen both Unbreakable AND Split to get anything out of it. The third act will definitely be the most divisive part of the movie, but everything before that is very solid. The fact that M. Night personally funded this movie with a fairly small budget shows quite a bit in some parts and most definitely has an impact on the third act (I won’t explain why, but if you see the movie, it can be figured out).
