Sometimes arguments can get heated and spiral out of control. So while we all want to win an argument, not making an enemy in the process can be even more important.

Which is why today we’ll be looking at Trevor Noah and what you can learn from him about coming out of verbal scruffs not only on top, but looking cool calm and collected.

    0:28 - #1: Sub-communicate that you're not there for a fight.
3:46 - #2: Ask questions instead of making statements.
6:39 - #3: Confidently defend yourself without coming across as antagonistic.

Trevor might be a comedian on everyone's eyes but hell boooii. That particular comedian reads philosophical books.

I kinda like and dislike this channel at the same time. I dislike it when it is at least in my perception so hard in trying to get you into the "do this, follow us, buy us and our product, you will unlock the secrets"... but I like it in that it is also underlyingly trying to hint on how to improve as people in stuff like building empathy with the 'other person' insted of the classical "pick-up-artisti-manipulative-"I've got-the-power" kinda way.

I have honestly no idea if I made any sense at all.

Having read his auto biography or memoir ( I’m not quite sure which one I think it’s a autobiography) it really makes me appreciate this even more, because He shows why he communicates like he does

Trevor's most powerful technique: when you can't refute their argument because they have presented hard evidence, turn to your audience and make a snappy zinger, be sure to skate swiftly past the subject onto something else.

Hey man i really enjoy your work feels like its true genuine! Alot of the things on your channel are very useful for self development. Thing is when the world map appeared at the end of the video with all the country names on them my country "Romania" din not appear with a name and so did other countries as well, i feel discriminated against a country without a name it's like it does not exist. Especially when other countries have their specific name written on them.

When you are well prepared and you are well-informed and you get into discussions, you dont easily lose your cool coz you are confident that if worse comes to worse- you know what you are talking about. Most of the time those who lose their cool are those who are not 100% sure that they can defend what they are saying.
