A lot of guys leave not because they feel it's wrong but it's more respecting a mother's privacy. We did a survey on campus about it.

I was going to say this as well. I am a breastfeeding mom and I turn my head away from breastfeeding moms to respect their privacy as well. And I imagine men often feel the extra pressure to walk away as to not seem like creeps and to show that they respect the mom’s space.

Leaving could actually just be a sign of respect, like, "let's give the woman her space".

Should've gotten real mothers to do this and done exit interviews like that what would you do show. This was all just speculation. And I didn't think it looked real in some parts

@Carolee Gernhardt right! A woman breastfeeding a live baby in public is doing something perfectly natural, even pumping in public is a natural thing. I can't think of any naturalistic reason you'd put your bare breast against a plastic baby's mouth in public, I'd probably do a few double takes wondering "why is she doing that? Is this a social experiment? Does she have a mental health condition and thinks the baby is real? Is everything ok?" and then leave because I don't want to interrupt w...

I was thinking what if people would leave just because they don't want to disturb you....or make u uncomfortable

I agree if I was there I would give them privacy and if I had no where to go to give them said privacy then I would just try not looking at them or something
